I don't know much about parsing. So forgive
me if something is wrong here.
I've been told that the Lojban grammar is
written in an "LR" style (as for yacc), as
opposed to an "LL" style (as for Antlr).
This has something to do with left and right
recursive definitions, but it's been far too
long since I studied this.
Anyone know if it's ever been done in the
"other" form? Or have a clue how much work
would be involved in transforming it?
I have a friend who swears by LL parsers,
and I'm thinking of getting him to write
(generate) a Lojban parser as a demo...
