Forgive me for switching to English here... but isn't the reason that
jboski doesn't undestand "cu'u fi'e ko'a" that there needs to be something
between cu'u and fi'e?

Yes, {ku}, but it's elidable, so it doesn't need to be explicit.
jboski doesn't always handle elidable terminators very well.

Can a modal directly be followed by a modal?

A term can folow another term. {cu'u [ku]} is a term and {fi'e ko'a} is
another term.

What
does it mean? Doesn't it need an argument like "cu'u ko'a fi'e ko'a"?

As Robin said, he meant only {cu'u ko'a}, it was a mistake in
editing.

{cu'u ku} would mean something like "said by someone unspecified".

Is
there any kind of logical or non-logical connectives that can go between
modals?

Yes, they can be connected with {je} or {joi}.
