It's usually done that way, but sometimes you can't. If there's a Vietnamese 
word "vy" (I don't know Vietnamese, but it's a plausible word, from what I've 
seen of the language), you can't quote it using "vy" as the delimiter.

{lo me'andi cu me la'o ly Lythraceae ly} in jbofihe gives an error if you say 
{ly ly thraceae}, but not {ly Ly thraceae} or {ly lythraceae}. I would use a 
different delimiter if quoting "Lythraceae".
