This means that you are disagreeing with someone and asserting that 
Lojban's language is not easy to learn. I'd say {lonu cilre fi la 
lojban. na nandu}.
{mi snura cusku}
"I can safely say" is an idiom. What is the danger from which you are 
snura? Maybe you could say {mi birti cusku}.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say with {selte'i banli narfrili}, 
but try using {zunti} for "obstacle".

The words you suggested are closer than what I could find- the vocabulary resources at hand are not up to the task in my opinion. I would never have thought to look for 'hindrance' when searching for a translation of obstacle. I'm currently working on making a Lojban-English dictionary/Thesaurus, to make it easier to find the right word. It's going to take me awhile.

According to the dictionary, selte'i means 'x1 is/are the only one(s) among x2 with property x2', I was trying to do 'only great difficulty' for 'only major obstacle'. It's the lujvo for 'se steci'.

Thank you for your help, I'm happy to know I at least got close.
