[lojban-beginners] Re: Several Lojban audio files

ki'esai -- I just posted your improved version.

I'm still a bit of a 'newb' when it comes to all the settings for recording. I usually tweak them until it sounds decent but it's a hard process to reproduce.

Alex,

the really long recording of Lojban vowels was very quiet even when I
turned up my speakers all the way. I ran it through the Normalize
filter in Audacity and made this.

Also, it's 17 MB instead of 22 MB.

It's been a little while since we had a discussion about lojban

so some folks know it's there.)

The website is http://www-personal.umich.edu/~alexjm/ and it contains
both a recording and text of the same content, following the concepts
taught in Lojban for Beginners though chapter 4.

Just thought that listening to a longer selection of Lojban might
help somebody out with listening. If you want a really long one, look
at the "really long MP3" on the main page -- that's about 15 minutes
of me pronouncing all the CV CVV and CV'V syllables in Lojban.
