Then I really miss periods and capitalization for parsing
sentences visually.
As a somewhat prolific user of lojban, I feel I should point out that there are plenty of languages that get by without these, and that, for myself, I find that things like {.i}, {lo}, and {cu} become every bit as useful for parsing sentences visually. ({.i} is usually the first thing I see when I look at a stream of lojban, gadri are a close second.)
I strongly suspect that this is bias on your part for the language you grew up with.
