BTW, if you want to try your hand at translating sentences from English
to lojban which are peer-reviewed (like what you are currently doing
(although you don't get to pick the sentences)), you might try jboselkei
at chain.lojban.org/jsk The difficulty of sentences is graded, so ou
don't have to translate things you don't want to try, and the entire
system works on a type of feedback so that the more experienced a
lojbanist is, the more his critiques count in determining how proficient
you are.

(and thanks for your comments about my attempting to explain le/lo. I
try :-)

Actually, I hate exposing my ignorance - but how else can I learn?
The reason I used {loka ce'u} was to find out if I can use it correctly
(just practice!) - however, I admit it didn't occur to me to use a
simple tanru. Thanks.

(1) I admire your willingness to try things in public. Thank you.
(2) I don't see any need for (nor get sense of) {loka ce'u} -- why
not simply
.i le do se pensi cu traji pluja .i...
which exactly matches the English. (Or, use {mutce} in both clauses,
for poetic parallelism?)
