[lojban-beginners] Re: the ".i" after "lu"
What exactly is the role or logic of colon in Lojban? Is it a genuine and exclusive substitution for "cusku", or can it also behave like a sentence separator as does in English?

That text is *not* lojban. Think of it more as a script. The text after the
colons is lojban, but the framing structure (with the colons, newlines, and
such) isn't.
