I've read it. It seems a rather ambitious project.
Have you started it already? And when? How is it going?
Just one remark:
For beginners at an A0 level, you probably don't need
"free text exercises". And you don't have to bother too
much about checking pronuciation (which is not an easy
task). You don't want to be too strict about
pronunciation with beginners after all. So the system
could be completely automatic. And that would be a major
advantage and much easier to set up and to run. Don't
you agree?

Unfortunately, I don't know nothing about "python" and
"django". I have some experience with "php" and "MySQL"
though...
