[lojban-beginners] Re: my first Lojban words 1.1

I'm not sure. I don't have much experience with wiki.
I don't like the idea of too many people (possibly
with different intentions and skills) working on it.
And I certainly don't want the number of words in the
list increase a lot. This is hard to avoid if you
put it on wiki, isn't it?
Once the problem with the encoding of non-Latin
characters is solved (Vid and I are currently working
on Japenese), I would be happy to add some other
languages. Maybe Arabic, Russian or Chinese? And
of course other European languages are welcome, too.
What about Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Polish?
I think HTML could cope with tables featuring a dozen
languages (and columns). But not many more...
I've chosen HTML mainly for communication purposes
in an initial phase of a bigger and more ambitious
project, e.g. for discussing which words to include,
discussing the meaning of Lojban words (and their
translations), adding other languages, etc.
The bigger project I have in mind is the creation
of an online, multilingual e-learning tool for
beginners. This would involve a database, a lot
of pictures and possibly sound. Lojban is meant to
be spoken after all, isn't it?
The HTML document in the current form is not
of great pedagogical value I think.
