A syllable can end with "n", in which case the following syllable cannot begin
with "nt".

No syllable can ever begin with "nt", because "nt" is not a valid initial.

What I meant was that if your rule is "an onset can be any string of
consonants each pair of which is a valid initial pair", then you allow
syllables such as "tctctctctc.....tctctca" because each pair is a valid
initial pair.

My rule excludes tc, ts, dj and dz from participating in any further clusters.

The problem with {xioskiamo} is whether {xio} breaks off, even though there
are no actual cmavo of the form "CiV" or "CuV". I say it does, and consider
{xioskiamo} invalid. vlatai considers it valid.

{xio} would break off only if {skiamo} was a valid word, but since {skiamo} is
not a valid word, it doesn't. Similarly {xioslinku'i} is valid because
{slinku'i} is
not valid, and {xioski} is valid because {ski} is not a valid word.
