I know. It's an artistic deliberation, and nicely amusing too. He is
again somehow terrific when looking at, uninterestingly, you trying to
waken the spitaki.

(Also I noticed Mr. Cowan sometimes pronounced the "r" sound like the
French or German one, in which case an accompanying "x" would become
the "h" as in "trixe" (03:21), otherwise the American rhotic sound.)
