My good sir, you are (a) absolutely correct and (b) exhibiting an
understanding of the differences between people's worlds that in my
experience is incredibly rare.  Even in myself, even though I'm
intellectually aware of these issues, I rarely manage to actually bring
that awareness to bear on things.

Actually, to unsub from lojban-beginners@ you should send mail to
lojban-beginners-request@.  lojban-list-request@ would be the request
address for lojban-list@.
