Re: [lojban-beginners] so'inono

de'i li 11 pi'e 04 pi'e 2010 la'o fy. Stela Selckiku .fy. cusku zoi skamyxatra.
I noticed this usage on the new ralju pagbu (excellent project btw):
"so'inono". I assume that means "hundreds"? I'd never seen the so'X
series used that way that I can recall, but it does make a lot of
sense. Does everyone agree that that means what it seems to mean?
.skamyxatra

The CLL doesn't agree. The end of section 18.8 states:
Another possibility is that of combining definite and indefinite numbers into a single number. This usage implies that the two kinds of numbers
have the same value in the given context:

8.18) mi viska le rore gerku
      I saw the all-of/two dogs.
      I saw both dogs.

8.19) mi speni so'ici prenu
      I am-married-to many/three persons.
I am married to three persons
(which is ``many'' in the circumstances).

So "{so'inono}" actually means "zero (which is many)."
