[lojban-beginners] About {mi cu facki di'e}

Question. Is it a misuse of using {di'e} to say {mi cu facki di'e .i
mi nelci lonu citka}? Assuming that the speaker is saying that she
discovered that she likes eating, rather than discovering the text "mi
nelci lonu citka".

I'm finding a lot of instances on the group mailing list where people
use {di'e} in this way. But it doesn't seem right…shouldn't it be
{la'e di'e} instead?
