Yes, they are.  Any string of BY {cmavo} is a {lerfu} string, which can serve
as a pro-{sumti}.  The fact that the {cmavo} are in BY1 and not BY2 is
irrelevant to the grammar; sub-{selma'o} exist only to indicate semantic
divisions to humans.

Yes.  A LAU and a {lerfu} word together form a {lerfu} word, which can always
be used as a one-element {lerfu} string, and thus as a pro-{sumti}, regardless
of whether it makes any semantic sense.
