[lojban-beginners] lojbanic coffee mug
coi
... and good day to all.
A lojban-speaker once got me interested in the language, and now I'm
going to learn it. To remind me and keep my spirit up, I'd like to
print an encouraging coffee mug for work. (I work in a public-
administration office, so coffee is pretty much on what I live there.)
I'm still waiting for my copy of the reference grammar to ship,
though, and from what little I have already learned on the Net I'm
very much unsure if the following is correct lojban:
le kafkabri po la .ieskos.
xekri je glare je kukte
Intended meaning: "Jesko's coffee mug", subtitle: "black and hot and
tasty"
(In case you're wondering about the subtitle, search the Web for
"Sinnlos im Weltraum".)
I'd be very happy if someone would have a glance at the above text and
signal errors to me (-:
And, just for interest, I couldn't yet figure out how to say "a mug of
black and hot and tasty coffee" ... (Also, is there a better way to
say "coffee mug" in the given context? Because "fb" is an
aesthetically unfortunate letter combination.)
co'o, greetings, and thanks in advance
PS: My first Google groups posting so far! (-:
