Well, I wouldn't say *avowed*, but I rather dislike tinkering, unless it's to clarify something which was a little muddy (gadri, for example). The other question for me is time. I wouldn't really have the time or inclination to write up big proposals, but I would probably have the time to read and vote on others' proposals.
