I started translating this as avoidance activity (I'm supposed to be grading papers) and got as far as:

mi tulno .i .u'nia.a'ucu'i .i mi citni'u .ije misisku lo nanamu poi djice le nu penmi je sezdile

A couple of questions then came to mind.

1. Is there a better attitudinal for "bored"?
2. "je" isn't really the best conjunction here, since it implies an event that consists of both meeting and having fun, whereas the English implies that the meeting is a prerequisite to the having fun. Is there a more appropriate way of saying this?
