{naku} can also be the object of a preposition or a tense marker, which 
likewise makes no sense:

mi viska sera'a naku le gerku .i canaku mi klama le zarci

{le gerku be naku cu klama le panka} is also grammatical, but it should be, 
since {le gerku be naku} is just {gerku naku} turned into a sumti.
