The question itself was about the same length, the long part was
the request to send the answer to me for those who don't use Yahoo.

There were two or three other similar polls (in Lojban) done by me 
before the Yahoogroups list. This was the first one, I think:

I know I did at least one other similar poll in the pre-Yahoo
era, one or two years after the first, but I couldn't find it. I 
do remember I got more responses for the second than for the first.
