Just wondering (nowhere to write, nothing here to call). Is there a word
for railgun yet? Not mentioning the ones in games, but the real thing.
As there's already a word for "gun" - {seldanti}, it could be
{garyseldanti} - "rail gun".
But as the thing is not really a weapon, and the word is long, it is
better to call it {garnace'a} - "rail launcher".
It is fast enough (can't be made slow, AFAIR, it will brake if so) to be
called launcher...
Still you can't then say "launcher of rails"?! Or does {cecla} work for
things those are not launching at the moment?
As full, railgun is an elecromagnetic mass accelerator. It could be too
long a lujvo for it. :)
