Re: [lojban] Re: detcartu la renonoxanan.

Hundreds of the rafsi serve double-duty as cmavo. Are you telling me they are off-limits for use in lujvo? If so, then what purpose do they serve as rafsi?

I's like to try to use {masti} in a lujvo, but I think {pavmasti} means any span of time measuring one month. Does {pavmoi masti} mean first thing measured in months? Does {pavmoiselmasti} mean first month? If not, how about {pavmoi (some abstraction) masti}?

Since I'm completely unfamiliar with the Zodiac, at first I was confused by the month names:
kanbyma'i goat-month
jaurbeima'i water-carry-month
fipma'i fish-month
lanma'i sheep-month
bakma'i cow-month
matsi'uma'i fit-mutual-month
cinfyma'i lion-month
xlima'i girl-month
laxma'i balance-month
rebjukma'i tail-spider-month
celma'i launcher-month
But if no scientific distinctions separate the months as they do the seasons, I suppose they are as good as any. Personally, I would like both the Zodiac and the number system to be valid names for the months in Lojban.

Very nice!

But... {dauma'i}, {feiga'i}, {gaima'i} are not lujvo. They are pairs
of cmavo, not very meaningful because {ma'i} is a BAI
meaning {fi'o manri}.

dau, fei, gai don't have rafsi, so you would need {pavnonma'i},
{pavypavma'i}, {pavrelma'i}.

Or you could use the month names proposed here:
