Yes. "nai" always binds to the previous word.

No, that doesn't work: the nai binds to the "y", which is in effect
the same as binding it to the "ge'e". Short of using an eraser
cmavo, once you have said "ge'e" it is simply too late to attach "nai"
to the "je".
