Has there been any attempt to collect mnemonic
aids for remembering gismu? Instead of a brute force approach ("kumfa=
room...kumfa = room...KUMFA = ROOM!"), memory seems to be helped with some sort
of association, especially one that's visual. For example: imagining a
"COOMFAtable room" (comfortable room). Or, imagining a man SITting ina
ZOOT SUit (zutse). Or, "don't get CHEEKY this TIME OF
DAY" (tcika).
Obviously, some associations will make sense
only to the maker, but I wonder if mnemonic suggestions might be a useful
addition to either a dictionary entry or a tutorial chapter's glossary
list.
