An "event" abstraction makes sense only if the events combined together happen at the same time. One therefore can try  the temporal marker {ca}

mi nelci le nu mi pinxe le birje ca le nu le bersa be mi cu kelci = "I like to drink beer while my son is playing."

In this way it is difficult to combine more than two sentences. Another suggestion: use topic-comment construction:

le fasnu noi mi nelci zo'u tu'e mi pinxe le birje .ije le bersa be mi cu kelci tu'i

= The event I like: "I drink beer and my son plays".
