One of the great things about jboselkei is that it has something in
common with Bittorrent peer-to-peer file sharing. Bittorrent is more
than a technical invention, it's a social invention. It is a
tit-for-tat system where you get to download some from peers, only when
you upload some to peers.
In a similar way, jboselkei allows you to get translation help from
others when you have given some translation help to others. Just like billions of tiny
contributions of Bittorrent bandwidth amount to 90% of all internet
traffic today, a massive amount of translation work could get
done in little pieces through tit-for-tat incentives. Its quality will be greater than it would be if each translation were only reviewed by the person who wrote it.
But jboselkei can take this even farther. I think posts should be
limited the number of translations you have made. The amount of help you can request to get others translating for you would be proportional to the translation assistance you have provided for others.
