I am very excited to inform you that the first Lojban-Russian-Lojban electronic dictionary, saxaras, is finished and ready for download at

http://www.lojban.com/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=saxaras

The dictionary is a compact and quick Windows application representing vocabulary data in hypertex format.

Even if you don't speak Russian I suggest you to take a look at it. Imagine you have the same dictionary in your language! ;)

jbovlaste is fine, except for one circumstance: it's online. It means that to use jbovlaste you must be connected to the Internet, and it is much slower than my dictionary (because your browser must exchange with jbovlaste server overseas, a problem not so noticeable to merxa'u). Besides, saxaras has been made *extremely* comfortable and user-friendly, and takes full advantage of being an offline app.

Both the Russian and what I assume to be Chinese failed to come through in my email.

My writing isn't Chinese. I'm using UTF-8 as my encoding.

The Russian is no problem:  I copy it to Word, where I have a macro to transliterate it.
How can I 'transliterate' the Chinese, though?
Is there any way to get the character code from the symbols above?  And are they Unicode or something else?  Unicode I can do in Word, too.

I tried very hard to solve this problem: pasting the code you provided and keep changing my encoding. It doesn't seem to work properly.
