nolse'u where they are tied to a particular noble
lazyse'u where they are tied to a particular family or clan
selpo'ese'u for a slave, where the emphasis is on the ownership

You can also introduce "non-free" in there, though I would do the opposite and use "free land-servant" for villein, since being bound to the land tended to be the default.

I think the samurai were either soldier-servants or soldier-nobles; I can't remember which.
