Cyril, That depends on what one means by "religion." In the loosest sense, the word could just mean a moral community. Just in the last ten years new institutions -- which might be called "unchurches" -- have been founded that not only affirm the primacy of reason over faith, but go farther and attempt to meet the real needs formerly served by faith-based moral communities.
