Not about lojban, but funny

It is a common observation that English words are in general shorter
than Russian ones. This is true, but you need much more of them!

Story: I am trying to keep an interests list in my livejournal in both
English and Russian. But some entries are missing, and today I have made
an attempt to fill one such hole. Original interest was "влюбляться
полезно", and my translation is "falling in love is good for you". Seven
words instead of two. But this damned livejournal limits an interest to
four words only!

Meta: I have no idea what gmail will do with Cyrillic in this letter.
I hope it is smart enough to use utf-8.
