Please don't take my comments as a flame.  I certainly am not mad at you.
But you seemed to be mad at us, and with the little that I've gotten done
in the last 6 months, I feel defensive.  But it seems critical to our
policy to make clear to newcomers that we stay "in the same phase" for quite
a long time, between baselines, and your comments seemed to imply that we are
doing something different now than we were doing a year ago when you were
among the proposers of changes as well.
