This is one of the major unsettled questions of Lojban: the relationship
between "ro broda", "ro da poi broda", and "ro lo broda".  It is clear that
they have similar meanings, but there are at least two places where they may
differ:

        1) if there are no brodas;

        2) in sentences like "re [lo/da poi] nanmu cu viska re [lo/da poi] gerku"
        where it is not clear whether there are at most 2 dogs or there
        might be 4 distinct dogs.
