I think {daos} is acceptable. {ao} is not a diphthong, so the name has
two syllables: da-os.

Since Chinese has one word for it, it seemed better to use a single word,
but that's not very important, {se turni} would be just as good.

It depends what you want the translation for. If you are interested in
explaining what the original means, you probably will use a long paragraph.
If you want it as some kind of aphorism, I would say it should be as short
and simple as possible.
