response on Peek-A-Boo game - old

It was a while ago that this was posted, and I am not sure whether it was
Lojban List or conlang, but my reply belongs here.

I would be going for the simplest wordings possible to convet the meaning.
We want to be grammatically correct, but ellipsis and other short cuts are
fine.

Not sure I understand ".ue" here.
The "vi" is unnecessary following zvati, so you could say
do zvati ma
 or elliptically
do vi ma

>PB02 There you are!
> .ua do zvati vi ta

.ua do zvati
.ua do vi ta

>PB03 I see you!
> .ui mi viska do

The mi is probably redundant:
.ui viska do

>PB04 Where's Erin?
> .ue la .erin. cu zvati vi ma

la. erin. vi ma
la. erin. zvati ma

>PB05 There she is!
> .ua la .erin. cu zvati vi tu

.ua la. erin. vi ta
.ua la. erin. zvati ta

>PB06 I see Erin!
> .ui mi viska la .erin.
>
>PB07 Where's the baby?
> .ue le cifnu cu zvati vi ma
>
>PB08 There's the baby!
> .ua le cifnu cu zvati vi tu
>

likewise per the above

>>PB09 I see the baby!
> .ui mi viska le cifnu

.ui cifnu
.ui ta cifnu

etc.

These caretaker expressions seem much more predicative than they are
statements per se, so the latter example is the type of thing I would
strive for, maybe with use of za'a, ti'e, and maybe in some cases ba'a
on an otherwise bare predicate (or maybe a "me la" or "me le".)
