sumti in tanru connectives

If I say

ti xanto je barda

what are the unexplicit sumti? I don't mind their not having the same number
of sumti, but the possible meanings of the zo'e in x2 do not coincide for
xanto and for barda. can I only use tanru connectives if the whole place
structures are similar?
