Believe it or not, this appears to be the problem:

Ecartis (the mailing list software I use) keeps track of message ids for
1 day (24 hours).  Apparently, Yahoo is so *amazingly* slow that
messages have been coming through after their message ids have expired.

Maybe.  The other possibility is that Robert's e-mail have Date headers
that are, to put it mildly, rather non-standard.

Dunno.

Regardless, ecartis no longer expires message ids.  That should clear it
up.

Please, if anybody sees duplicates again, send them to me.
