I've heard blueberries called "myrtilles" in French. That must be the species 
referred to. I've thought of calling them "mirtili" in Lojban.

The proper way to make a common name in Lojban is to use a brivla with a cmene 
(which can be "la"+a brivla, as well as a cmevla) in x2. So "bakyjba be la 
mirtilus." Of course, colloquially we can just say "blanu bakyjba".
