I don't think you understand what ".e<tense>bo" does.

"mi .epubo do broda", and its longer form "mi broda .ijepubo do broda"
are used all the time, and mean "I broda, and before that, you also
broda.".

paroi is a tense, just like pu is (well, not *exactly* like, but close
enough).

Correct, and the grammar agrees that it should not; only the
non-terminal 'term' can become <tense>ku, but there is no way to put an
ek between 'term' non-terminals.

On the other hand, the grammar says that "mi .eparoibo do broda" should
parse.
