benefits of separation between semantics and grammar
Hello.
.u'u I'm not ready to post in Lojban yet. I'm still in awe of it.
Lojban has unambiguous grammar. That is, we need not correctly guess
the meaning of an utterance to understand how the utterance parses.
This is obviously useful when talking to machines, but the literature
I've read so far suggests that the engineers of Lojban were more
interested in unambiguous grammar because of its implications in light
of the SWH.
Is this still important to the Lojban community? Are there any Lojban
speakers who can think quickly in Lojban? Does it make a difference?
Are there other benefits to be reaped from unambiguous grammar, aside
from talking to machines simply and thinking clearly?
