Why borrow it from English? In some fields, it does make sense to 
borrow English terms, but I'm not sure mathematics is such a field. 
In Spanish it is called "variedad" or "variedad matemática", i.e. 
a translation of the usual meaning of "manifold".

I propose {cmacyvrici}.
