.oktopoda, perhaps? Based on the good ol' "oblique form of the
Greek/Latin word" method. Or curnrxoktapoda, perhaps, if you want a
stage-3. (Though I'd be tempted to make it curnrxtapodi, based on the
Modern Greek form.)
