I am very, very interested in a Lojban STT program, but have been
told that there is more grunt work than technical skill needed to
make this happen. Same with TTS.

I'd love to have some help on jbovlaste (which is LAMP; Perl + Mason
specifically, over PostGres).
I still think someone should translate The Sims. :-)
I'm sure there are others, but nothing's coming to mind right ATM.

Not I. I'm not a very visual person.
You may find that representing brivla as a sort of functional
programming language might be useful.
