cmene registry?

Is there any work in the area of setting up a registry of "official"
cmene? I think it would be sweet to set up some sort of database that
identified people (real or ficticious) by universal Lojbanic
identifiers, kind of like i-names (2idi.org) but for Lojban circles only.

Just as a brainstorm, people could be referenced by an optional
domain, an optional surname, and a single given name, perhaps with
nicknames. So something like ".obysp.uirik.brandn." could refer to
Brandon Wirick in San Luis Obispo, CA., but as long as there are no
other Brandon Wiricks to speak of, I could drop the .obysp., and if
I'm the only Brandon to speak of, I could drop the .uirik..

Yeah right now there are only a handful of Lojbanists, so a big
database would not be practical, but if we build it, they will come.
Any thoughts?
