probably {bacru}, the act of uttering sound, not
the message conveyed {cusku} or the topic {tavla}

?change speakers? probably no connective needed

?speaker change?

{sai} usually attaches to another emotion word to
strengthen the emotion. What does it mean
standing alone. Or is it meant to strengthen
{uenai}: "Yeah, that happens all the time"? Or
(looking ahead) is it meant to make {ku'i} more
emphatic: "BUT," not just "however"?

Most comments turn out not perhaps to be relevant
for the joke.
