Hi,
The Loglish parser (assuming it's created, which is likely but not certain)
will probably be implemented in either python or Java. I dislike perl;
and though I like C++ I think it's probably not ideal for this project,
as C++ code would be too easy for others to mess up in the future. Java
is the most likely language to be used here. Our existing WordNet
manipulation code is mostly in Java.
The licensing issue is not 100% decided, but most likely it will be offered
under some sort of OSS license (there are many, many varieties of such,
as you probably know).
We will almost surely use (and then appropriately modify) the PEG
formulation
of Lojban grammar that Robin Lee Powell has created for use within the RATS
parser-generator. Probably we will use RATS as a parser-generator but if
this
doesn't work out for some reason we will probably use Speagram (see
www.speagram.org)
as a parser-generator.
