[lojban] Re: detcartu la renonoxanan.



why not have some sort of short word to denote the shifting to a certain calender or day of year, so you would say the 'shift word', then what language or culture its in, and then the day, with quotations around it or the like.

Why should there be one official system of naming days and months? Can't we
have many valid names for each day or month and let each person call it
whichever they wish depending on what culture they're in, without having to
name that culture in the name of the day or month? I'm not opposed in
principle to having nomenclatures that include rafsi of the cultural context
to which they apply, but if I use one that doesn't mention it, would I not
be speaking Lojban?
