The FEEL of NSM, as I understand it, is the one that refers
to passive perception of sensations or emotions, as in
"I feel happy" or "I feel cold", not the one that refers to
active examination through touching.

In Spanish, "sentir" is most often used for emotions
but it can also be used for sensations "siento frío",
although "tengo frío" (literally "I have cold") is more
common.
