[lojban] translating gismu definitions into Lojban
In alphabetical order from the gismu.txt wordlist, I have begun
posting entries to jboselkei in the following form:
"x1 utters verbally/says/phonates/speaks [vocally makes sound] x2
[also voices; does not necessarily imply communication or audience;
('says' is usually cusku)]
Explanatory context: Translate the definition of {bacru} into Lojban
in any way that gets across the meaning, without using the word
itself, or its rafsi. You do not have to use Lojban equivalents of any
words or punctuation in the English definition. Instead, invent the
best definition that can be made in Lojban. You must keep the place
structure intact. Assume the reader does not speak any natural
languages, and does not need to be warned against their assumptions."
Please suggest any improvements to the standard explanatory text.
Also, I'm not sure how to translate x1, x2 and so forth, but I'm sure
there exists a standard convention for it.
