[lojban] Re: Helping with the BPFK for skilled Lojbanists who don't like formality.

The thing is, to be a BPFK member you're going to have to accept a

This is hardly unique to you, which is why I'm sending this out
publically.
So, let's take a crack at the proxy method, which has been discussed
but never used.
You want to help the BPFK with as little hassle as possible?
Do this:
1. Go to
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BPFK+Sections&bl
2. Pick a section that doesn't seem to have had any real work done
on it. For comparison, a finished section looks like one of these:
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BPFK+Section%3A+Text+Structure+cmavo&bl
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BPFK+Section%3A+Causation+sumtcita&bl
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BPFK+Section%3A+Distance&bl
and unfinished sections look like this:
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BPFK+Section%3A+Non-Contact+Spatial&bl
That is, just the cmavo list.
If a section you want to work on is already "owned" by someone else,
but little or no real work has been done, that's totally OK.
3. Write up a proposal for some or all of that section, and e-mail
it to me.
I will handle everything else.
How's that?

That's perfect. Basically the proposal will explain what a cmavo
should mean, in as much detail and clarification as necessary, with
usage examples.
As of 6PM today I am on vacation, and will be visiting my girlfriend
in Texas from tomorrow through Sunday. I'll have a lot of hours to
hang out around her apartment and goof off on the computer while she's
at work. So I am about to have a great deal of time to work on
Lojban-related stuff.
